ES-0346 Environmental Monitoring Mission Engineer Lead

Electrical engineer with at least 15 years experience in engineering and at least a Master’s Degree in a related engineering discipline. Responsible for Mission and Systems Engineering for current systems, definition of future capabilities in support of pervasive and foundational cross functional support, architecture framework definition and substantiation for terrestrial weather and space environment. Manages personnel who work with Combatant commands, Components and platform drivers to drive strategic, operational and tactical levels of warfare. Conduct and leads system engineering covering acquisition and transition equities including maintaining systems and cross functional technical baselines, verification, validation, and test, and managing risk and opportunities, architectures definition, model-based systems engineering, modeling, simulation and analysis, operation research system performance analysis and future concepts. Supports review of Development, Production, and Enterprise Corps programs and projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or related field.  

  • 15+ years of engineering experience working on a Gov’t or commercial space program

Wage/Salary: This is a full time position, wages commensurate with experience

Security Clearance Level:  Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance

Relocation Expense: Not included
